With pride and care my husband and I planned and built a lovely house prior to our marriage, expecting it to become our family homestead. After we had lived in the house five years, for some time I was unaccountably depressed, praying without avail to achieve a feeling of peace and satisfaction. Mrs. Eddy tells us in Science and Health that angels are "God's thoughts passing to man; spiritual intuitions, pure and perfect. .." (p. 581). Just such an angel thought suddenly led me to perceive this clear message: "Why don't you move? And do it now." All resistance fell away, and I was joyfully ready to follow the admonition.

Although I expected my husband to think me foolishly impulsive, I also knew he would credit the source of the directive to divine Mind, and he did. Each day we thanked the Father for His guidance and direction. We quickly obtained a house that met our changed needs and found a buyer for the house we had built. The new residence was perfect for our entire family. Only divine Love could have supplied the details of our requirements so beautifully. Our cup of gratitude was full to overflowing.

Three weeks before our younger daughter was to enter kindergarten, she was with me in the car on an errand. While I was traveling down the road at a moderate rate of speed, I suddenly noticed that the passenger door was swinging open. Through the rearview mirror I saw the child lying in the road behind me. I stopped the vehicle, ran back, and gathered her in my arms. The youngster had hit her head and was semiconscious.
