A permanent alliance
There have been reports in recent weeks of strains in the Atlantic Alliance. The United States and some of its European allies have found themselves disagreeing over how to respond to the crises in Iran and Afghanistan and to the still-unsolved conflict between Israel and the majority of the Arab countries.
Spiritual perspectives are the underlying need of all mankind. Viewed metaphysically, the terms "alliance," "allies," and "allied" take on a profound significance.
Individually, man is forever allied to his Maker, God, and this sacred relationship can never be interfered with or severed. As God's reflection, man is allied to all the deific qualities, such as intelligence, justice, goodness, love. He enjoys perpetual security and peace.
