While I was practicing to play in an all-star baseball game a few years ago, I cut my hand badly on a wire fence. The coach became very upset because I was to be his leadoff pitcher and the first game was only a few days away. Then he rushed me to my house and ran into the room where my parents were. He told them I needed to go to the doctor for shots and to have the hand sewed up. He also said he doubted I could play ball any time soon.
Mother said she would take care of it. After the coach left, she prayed. She insisted that what the coach had said was a mistake of the material senses, for I was really God's child, and God's spiritual idea cannot be injured. We both knew that I would be in my place.
My hand healed fast, and I played in the game as scheduled. The coach could not believe that it had healed so quickly, but he sure was happy! I was very grateful for this healing.
