Listen
Be still,
Listen.
Do you hear a voice
Calling you?
"Perhaps," you think, "it's my imagination."
No, this is God.
Listen, not with your ears,
But with your mind.
Are you doing wrong,
And this voice is telling you to stop?
Or are you frightened or fearful?
Then listen for Him,
Helping you along, step by step.
Maybe you are at peace,
Listening to the never-ending
Stream of thoughts from God.
Be still. Listen.
