I have had many healings in Christian Science, but this one is very important to me. It occurred when I was in the tenth grade.

One evening I was sewing and accidentally stepped on a needle. It went through the sock and entirely into my foot. When my parents returned home, I showed them what had happened. We were unable to remove the needle. Then Mother called a Christian Science practitioner, and we all began to pray.

As we prayed during the following days, there was no pain or inflammation. I was able to take part in regular school activities. A friend urged me to go to a doctor and have the needle removed or things could become serious. But my family and I continued to pray, confident the application of God's law of harmony would bring a proper solution.
