Needed: ideas, not time
The push to accomplish a task within a certain time; the pressure of paying bills by due dates; the desire to obtain a healing quickly—we know the problems time would present, but what's the solution?
It can be found by pondering another question. Is more time what we really need? Before deciding, we might consider Mrs. Eddy's definition of "time" in Science and Health. It reads in part, "Mortal measurements; limits, in which are summed up all human acts, thoughts, beliefs, opinions, knowledge; matter; error."Science and Health, p. 595;
Now we can look at that question another way. Do we really need more mortal measurements? More limits? More matter? More error? Hardly! What, then, do we need? Mrs. Eddy says: "God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn, they give you daily supplies. Never ask for to-morrow: it is enough that divine Love is an ever-present help; and if you wait, never doubting, you will have all you need every moment."Miscellaneous Writings, p. 307;
