Prayer heals child's lingering cold
At the beginning of school last year I caught a cold. At first I didn't think about it, but as it lingered I felt that I needed to pray to heal it. My schoolteacher was concerned about my problem, and she almost convinced me that I needed to see a doctor. But instead, my mother set an appointment for me with a practitioner.
The practitioner helped me a lot, and I continued to call him every day so that I could understand more about Christian Science. He asked me to read and study pages 385-387 in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and I found that page 386, lines 5-15, was extremely helpful to me.
The practitioner also told me that I was like a clear mountain stream, with nothing to clog it up, because I am the perfect reflection of God. This helped me understand God and who I really am a lot better, and soon I was completely healed. I will always be extremely grateful for Christian Science.
