Swimming is one of my favorite things to do

Swimming is one of my favorite things to do. Last winter whenever I went swimming, my ear started to hurt. I always asked Mommy to help me pray to God, and the hurting would stop. We always thanked God.

One night my ear hurt more than ever. I talked to God. I said, "God, please help me." I felt that God told me to remember He was all around. He told me that He loves me and everybody else too. I knew that God was all around and my ear could not hurt. Then I fell asleep. The next morning I felt very good. Mommy and I read a section of the Bible Lesson from the Christian Science Quarterly. Then we said "the scientific statement of being" from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Part of it says (p. 468), "Spirit is the real and eternal; matter is the unreal and temporal." I knew that an ear that could hurt is not real. Only God and what God makes is real. I thanked God for making me perfect and keeping me perfect. And you know what? I go swimming a lot and my ear doesn't hurt anymore. God really does keep me perfect!
