First, I want to express my gratitude for the high school friend who introduced me to the Christian Science Sunday School, and for the dedicated Sunday School teachers who are helping our young people gain a workable understanding of this divine Science. I attended Sunday School for a few years prior to reaching the age of twenty. At that time I was healthy and happy and thought it unnecessary to study the Bible Lesson in the Christian Science Quarterly or the assignments given to the class by my teachers. I enjoyed going to Sunday School, and I knew Christian Science would be what I wanted if I ever felt I needed it.

A few years after leaving Sunday School I was in need of a healing of eczema. I asked for treatment from a Christian Science practitioner and read Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. On page 406 we read, "Resist evil—error of every sort—and it will flee from you." It encouraged me to think of the condition as fleeing from me, and this helped me resist the temptation to make a reality of it. With the prayer of the practitioner the healing came in three weeks, and it has been permanent.

Another healing I had some time ago was of a tendency toward severe headaches. This healing, too, has been permanent.
