Dale's paper route
The alarm clock went off at 4 a.m. Dale threw back the covers and jumped out of bed. It was time to deliver his newspapers again.
Dale had over two hundred customers on his route, so he had to start delivering the papers early. Many subscribers wanted to read the news before they went to work.
He worked hard, and on rainy days he carefully placed each newspaper in a dry spot or in a waterproof bag so that his customers wouldn't get a wet paper. Dale took great care to see that his customers were satisfied. But he found that some of them were lax in paying him for their subscription.
