Unshakable trust in God

Doubtless many people the world over wish to trust God. They desire to prove to themselves that the numerous biblical promises linked to trust in God are really true. But they do not know how to trust Him. They do not know exactly what gaining a trust in God requires of them.

To have in thought and to understand the true concept of God and of man's unchanging relationship to Him is what establishes trust in God on a sound and healing basis.

"Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart,"^{Ps. 37:3, 4;} wrote the Psalmist. When the troubles and cares of this world press heavily on us, how comforting it is to be equipped with such a clear understanding of God and His all-power that we can turn to Him in absolute confidence! Whatever the problem, it is then solved in a form consistent with the best interests of all concerned, although it may sometimes appear otherwise to human outlining.
