Preserving our integrity on sexual questions
As we deepen and expand our love for God, we find an inevitable goal emerging in our life. We begin to recognize the possibility of outgrowing—in both thought and deed—all the limitations of mortal existence. Because of a genuine love for our fellowman, we hope—through this spiritual growth—to contribute at least in some modest way to humanity's progress Spiritward.
The end result, both for the individual and ultimately for society as a whole, is a full spiritual awakening—the discovery of reality. Our true individual identity is idea. It is man, the unrestricted expression of divine consciousness. Individually, man represents the purity and wholeness of Soul, the goodness and tenderness of Love, the unchanging integrity of Principle.
As we begin to glimpse and then appreciate this true substance of man, sustained in the very likeness of God, our lives commence reflecting a more accurate picture of real being. Our progress includes not only an increase in our striving for spirituality but also a conscious relinquishing—even a sacrifice—of materiality.
