Spiritual unity: a prophet's vision
One of mankind's greatest needs is to break out of a limited sense of self, and a help in doing this is a growing understanding of the deeper dimensions of spiritual unity. Why? Because spiritual unity relates to individual as well as collective progress.
This unity is not getting everyone to stand on the head of the same pin; rather, it is discerning the reality of everyone and everything as coming under the guidance and control of the one infinite, all-embracing divine Mind. Spirit is God. And Spirit includes each idea individually and all ideas collectively. This is the basis of Paul's vision: "There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." Eph. 4:4-6;
