A number of years ago my husband was suffering from tuberculosis. The wife of his employer saw his need and told him about Christian Science. She gave him some literature and directions to a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. He attended a Wednesday evening meeting and heard a man testify to having been healed of tuberculosis through prayer. That gave my husband hope. With the prayer of a Christian Science practitioner he was completely healed.

Later our small son became ill with pneumonia. My husband asked if I wanted a doctor or Christian Science treatment for the child. Knowing little of this Science, I chose the doctor. After a time I could see our son was getting worse. One evening I told my husband I was ready to try Christian Science, and I asked him to bring a practitioner to our home. The boy's breathing was so heavy it could be heard in the next room. The practitioner sat by the bed in prayer, and in a few minutes the breathing became normal. The child was soon well. Since then I have relied entirely on Christian Science for healing.
