Love shatters materialism!

Worldly goals can offer us?—
a blown-up zero
of self and sensuality
tugging us blindly
into the dust.

Yet real good is reached
from the viewpoint of humility.
Then we veer our focus
from the dense screen
of spurious mortal desire, and—
penetrating matter—we're suddenly aware
of Love's rousing light!

Now omnipotent Mind
is seen dissolving
the fake mortal stone
of earthward attraction—
for materiality cannot withstand
the perpetual force
and enveloping spiritual warmth
of Love's being,
propelling us on.
