Christian Science has transformed my life by healing me of self-consciousness, intense fear, and numerous physical difficulties.

My first twenty-five years were haunted by nerve-related problems due to an accident in infancy that caused a double lateral curvature of the spine and the displacement of three vertebras. Doctors claimed there was no possibility of correcting the effects of the accident and the associated conditions. Eventually I became extremely underweight, subnormal, and had a positive reaction to tuberculin tests.

It was then that I turned to Christian Science. Through the help of a Christian Science practitioner I learned that the healing Christ, Truth, is available to all who turn to God in understanding prayer. And I learned how to turn to Him by studying Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. This study proved to me scientifically that I was not the offspring of mortal parents, subject to chance and frailties; but that I, in my true being, was the unblemished spiritual reflection of God, omnipotent Mind, who is eternally perfect.
