What is outside All? Nothing!
The Continuity of Good Eradicates Evil
When our attorney was drawing an important legal contract for our firm, I asked him why he found it necessary to restate several items in such simple, elementary terms. These points appeared to be well covered in the main body of the contract. He explained that the apparently redundant sections had been included so there would be no doubt as to the intent of the contract, and so he could be sure the whole ground was covered.
Similarly, in healing we need to remove all doubt from thought and close any loopholes where error might creep in. For instance, it is inconsistent to deny the present existence of disease and then accept the belief of a serious epidemic in the past. By thoroughly applying the basic truths of Christian Science and recognizing good's allness and continuity, we can completely root out the belief in error—past, present, or future. Mrs. Eddy writes, "Science must go over the whole ground, and dig up every seed of error's sowing." Science and Health, p. 79;
In truth, man is spiritual and perfect, the expression of everlasting Life, God; and as such he continues to exist throughout eternity. He was not born in matter, has never lived in matter or died out of matter. His eternal environment is divine Love, which includes nothing but good. Thus evil, disease, and death have no past history, no present reality, no future possibility. "Divine Science rolls back the clouds of error with the light of Truth, and lifts the curtain on man as never born and as never dying, but as coexistent with his creator," ibid., p. 557; states our Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
