Our Interests— Do They Divide or Unite?
Is God a mighty, arbitrary power who needs to be appeased? Do we need to bribe Him to grant us special favors? Does He recognize favorites?
Christian Science answers no to these questions.
God, almighty Truth, is infinite and infinitely just. The inexhaustible good of His giving is for all, without partiality. Christ Jesus told his disciples, "He [God] maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust." Matt. 5:45; True prayer takes the side of God and His reflection, man.
