MY PRAYER
Father, in this transforming age,
When all the world seeks to be free,
Help me to see my brother man,
The way I'd want him to see me.
Lift the self-mist from my eyes,
That I may discern what You have made,
Not caged or bound in any way,
But man unfettered, unafraid.
Help me to love with that pure love
That melts away the bonds of pain,
That frees from sin and sees through death,
And so beholds the real again.
