"Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." These words in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mrs. Eddy (p. 494) have been proved in my life in all their fullness. All I could say to express my gratitude is insufficient, because Christian Science has changed my life.

Because of the nature of my work I was obliged to place my hands frequently in kerosene and ink. With time, sores came on my hands. To alleviate the pain, I rubbed them with an ointment I always carried in my pocket, and I would put it on wherever I might be. After I knew Christian Science, I always studied the Bible Lesson in the Christian Science Quarterly. One day I was inspired to go see a Christian Science practitioner so that she could help me overcome this error of sores on my hands.

She received me with much kindness and spoke to me of God and of my unity with Him, of our great Master, Christ Jesus, and of Mrs. Eddy. Everything seemed new to me. I left her office so satisfied, so happy, that I didn't remember my hands. It was only when I arrived at my house that I realized my hands were completely healed. I showed them to my wife and we rejoiced together. My happiness was even greater when I saw I also was healed of a hernia that had bothered me for some time. I hadn't even mentioned this condition to the practitioner. These healings were instantaneous. Since my healing several years have passed. I have continued to work and still do work with kerosene and ink, but my hands have remained completely well.
