TRUTH'S SPIRAL
From whatever step
on the upward stair
I reach for His hand
I find Him there.
He does not know
my dreams of start and stop;
this spiral has no bottom
and no top.
The steps behind, below,
dissolve away—
I learn in Soul's undimming day.
Each successive upward step
by God is wrought
on these, my steps of thought.
