Debbie's Goal
Most people have goals. Some really work at them, some just dream about them. Maybe the latter figure they don't have a chance, so they don't want to try and fail. Or maybe they don't pick their goals wisely to begin with.
A friend of mine, named Debbie, had a goal that was really important to her. She wanted to be a cheerleader when she went to high school the next year. She started practicing months ahead. She learned how to lead all the school cheers, and she worked out on the trampoline.
And she prayed. Meaning, in her case, she asked God for His help. When school started and the cheerleader tryouts drew close, she prayed a lot harder.
