Out of deep gratitude I would like to tell of healings I was privileged to experience in Christian Science.

Following a nervous breakdown, I suffered from a disorder of the metabolic process with unpleasant side effects, a disorder which was medically declared incurable. I had to keep to a strict diet, and was physically and mentally in very bad shape. This lingered on for several years, during which I was in much agony and filled with great fear.

Through divine guidance I met an adherent of Christian Science who told me about this religion. I immediately bought Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and even during my first reading I became aware that I had found what I had always longed for. When I read on page 6 " 'God is Love.' More than this we cannot ask, higher we cannot look, farther we cannot go," I clearly realized for the first time that every person is the tenderly loved child of God, inseparable from Him, and that he is always sustained by Him. The recognition that God is Love filled my thought with a deep sense of gratitude. The fear that had always burdened me fell away, and with it disappeared the physical difficulties. I never felt so well before in my life, and I began to study Science and Health.
