HOW TO GO

Margaret Singleton Decker

I truly sought my Father's will,
listening, still,
earnest, sober,
waiting an appointed way—
a where when why.
Then I
became aware
of how

The ringing answer,
joy-inspired,
angel-choired:
"Go singing!"
Not only where when why
but how—
always singing,
bring grateful heart, obedient feet
whatever designated way.
"Go singing!"
