I appreciate the opportunity to respond to the letter from "Women of the Church" from Warren regarding an article in your paper "How they budget." ...

As Christian Scientists we are taught and believe that we should not only give of the first fruits of our finances, but that we should also give to God the first fruits of our time and thoughts.

This certainly is a time worldwide when many people are placing more importance on material rather than on spiritual values. we agree wholeheartedly that in all giving God should have first priority.
