I am very grateful that many years ago, when solving a professional difficulty, my attention was called to Christian Science. In working out the difficulty I had to completely change my thinking about God, myself, and the meaning of prayer. The solution began when I learned to recognize God as the source of good, as Life, Truth, and Love. It was important for the demonstration to acknowledge God as omnipotent and that I, as the expression of His being, am at all times supplied with everything necessary.
For years I had been searching for guidance on how to pray aright. I was now privileged to find that a correct understanding of God is in itself prayer, and that human problems can be solved when we are ready to lift our thought to God. Thus I learned how to solve a housing problem, and I applied Christian Science to financial difficulties through prayer to express more of the nature of God as infinite Love in human affairs. Through the understanding that God is our Life, my wife and I were wonderfully protected during an automobile accident.
