"Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 494). I should like to share some of the blessings that have come to me for over thirty-five years as I have learned—and am learning—that whatever the human need may be, the real need is always to know God, divine Love, better. Some of these blessings are healings of a broken family relationship, sick headaches, stomach trouble, recurring abscesses, social drinking, and financial lack. There has been progress in overcoming unlovely dispositional traits, protection in driving, and many other proofs of God's loving care.

During a long career in office work, almost no time was lost due to changing positions. After seven years in one office, business conditions resulted in my necessary dismissal. Following a talk with a Christian Science practitioner about my need for employment, I was soon given temporary work, then a permanent position, which I held until leaving the city. After I moved to the West Coast, an ad in a daily paper brought one answer, which resulted in twenty years of happy employment.

The healing of recurring abscesses covered a period of years. The first ten years were under medical care. Doctors could find neither cause nor cure for the trouble. The problem occurred at intervals— sometimes several months, sometimes several years. After becoming a student of Science I had the help of Christian Science practitioners at various times. Under Christian Science treatment the recovery always came through mental surgery alone, and it would be complete in less than half the time required under medical means.
