The Truth That Exterminates Error

Fundamental to the healing work of Christian Science is the understanding that God, divine Mind, is the supreme, governing intelligence of the universe, including man, and that there is no other mind. The destruction of the belief in a mind apart from God is basic to the solution of problems of every kind.

Through the study of the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, we learn the Science of Mind-healing— healing through understanding the oneness and allness of divine Mind. Its author writes, "The exterminator of error is the great truth that God, good, is the only Mind, and that the supposititious opposite of infinite Mind—called devil or evil—is not Mind, is not Truth, but error, without intelligence or reality."^{ Science and Health, p. 469;} No matter what the nature of the error may be that presents itself, this statement provides the truth that will exterminate it.

Let us see how this truth that exterminates all error may be effectively applied in the healing of physical, mental, and moral ills.
