Is It Right to Want Material Goods?
Technology has created an amazing variety of appealing items available for purchase. While many people have the means for acquiring consumer goods, many others do not and may consider themselves the victims of chance.
To help someone who finds himself unable to afford new things, advice such as "Work harder" or "Be more frugal" is sometimes useful but usually not enough. Lack of resources can be overcome, and in human ways we can often help someone do so. But the best aid we can give is to show the other person how he can apply God's law of abundance by realizing the spiritual facts of infinite supply.
In reality, all supply comes in limitless measure from God, who is unchanging, supreme good. God, divine Love, Spirit, does not withhold but consistently imparts good to His spiritual expression, man. Divine Mind does not know obstacles or limitations but unceasingly, universally communicates productive ideas to the real man, who is the perfect image and likeness of Mind.
