At first I really didn't comprehend,
Because I hadn't taken ship or plane,
I had truly been to holy lands.

In surprise, I thought,
Why—I've already been to Gethsemane,
And found the patience, love, and yielding I needed.

Suddenly I recalled how long
I'd tarried in Eden,
