In the Preface of the Christian Science textbook we read, "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. vii). The truth of these words has been proven to me many times. Since taking up the study of this divine Science I have been healed of nervous trouble, anemia, recurring bronchitis, foot poisoning, influenza, burns, and eczema.
Some of these things have been overcome by my own study of the Bible and Science and Health; others, the more serious ones, have been accomplished by the prayers of Christian Science practitioners.
In many instances the practitioner has asked me to look up the explanation of God Mrs. Eddy gives on page 465 of the textbook: "God is incorporeal, divine, supreme, infinite Mind, Spirit, Soul, Principle, Life, Truth, Love." The study of these words helped me during the healing of anemia. The condition was very persistent, but it finally yielded to faithful treatment by a practitioner.
