It would take too much space to correct all the misstatements in [the author's] column on Christian Science. But here are just a few factual comments which may help the uninformed reader who has come upon the article.
1. There is not now and never has been a telephone in Mrs. Eddy's tomb. This is a silly schoolchild tale, apparently endlessly repeated, yet totally without foundation. Christian Scientists are not spiritualists, and they do not believe in communication from the departed anyway.
