Mrs. Eddy says in the textbook, Science and Health (p. 424), "Accidents are unknown to God, or immortal Mind, and we must leave the mortal basis of belief and unite with the one Mind, in order to change the notion of chance to the proper sense of God's unerring direction and thus bring out harmony."

While I was going backwards, sweeping the leaves down the path leading to my garden, a path skirting a steep slope with wooded terraces, I missed a step and fell from the edge of the path, rolling first onto one terrace and then to a second. I fell from a height of approximately twelve feet, hitting my back on the second terrace, from which I got up completely unhurt. Deeply grateful to our Father-Mother God, I was able to go up again to my house. I was aware of the divine presence with me in this experience.

I also have the proof that the harmony of our body is regulated by Mind. The textbook says on page 373, "Mortal mind is producing the propulsion or the languor, and we prove this to be so when by mental means the circulation is changed, and returns to that standard which mortal mind has decided upon as essential for health." Thanks to the prayerful help of a Christian Science practitioner, disorders caused by poor circulation have disappeared for me.
