HIS ANGELS DELIVER
Abraham,
willing to sacrifice his beloved,
took him three days' journey
to the land of Moriah.
But the angel of the Lord
saved the boy.
Daniel,
trusting the law of his God,
faced a den of lions
one long, dreary night.
But God sent His angel
to shut their mouths.
Neither withheld his love,
nor ceased being faithful.
In face of trials today,
or fear of barbarous decrees,
cannot we trust all to the Father? ...
His angels still deliver.
