Meet My Best Friend
Through junior high school I had a wonderful "best friend." We went to the theater and school dances together, told each other our secrets, shared thoughts about boyfriends, shared jokes, and really enjoyed being together.
But in tenth grade she went into a club that I didn't join. I was crushed. She had all new friends. She had something different from me. I couldn't talk with her easily anymore. I felt lost. How would I ever have a great friend like that again?
Since then I've learned that we have many friends in our life. There are times when they need to go their way and we ours, but true friendship is never destroyed. Why?
