The Radiancy of the Christ

So radiant is the Christ, the reflection of God as manifested by Jesus, that the Master was able to feed, comfort, and heal multitudes. This has often been attributed through the ages to a miraculous power available to Jesus alone, but Christian Science is teaching, and proving too, that the same Christ is available today to everyone. The Christ is indeed the true, spiritual nature of all, no matter what material sense may argue to the contrary.

The Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, writes, "Christ illustrates that blending with God, his divine Principle, which gives man dominion over all the earth."^{Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 316;}

How reassuring to realize that we are not mortal, subject to all the ills that a belief in a material selfhood would impose upon us, but are the loved ideas of God, spiritual, perfect, and immortal! Once this is realized, the Christ's radiance fills our whole being, dispelling hopelessness. And it can bless and heal those with whom we come in contact—and, in some measure, the whole world.
