Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy is the textbook of Christian Science. When a community needs help, it generally needs action. Sometimes it needs even more than meetings and marches. Many towns and cities have not hesitated to talk about the active power of prayer. And some have recalled the Bible promise that "the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 5:16).
