Since I first began to study and apply the teachings of Christian Science, I have had a number of proofs of the effectiveness of prayer as it is taught in Christian Science.

Physical and economic problems have been solved through scientific prayer, and at the same time I have grown in spiritual understanding.

I want to express my deep gratitude for a healing I had recently. One morning in my office I began to have symptoms of grippe. During the day the condition grew worse, and at dinnertime the condition was so severe that I was unable to have any food. I had high fever and congestion, and pain in my shoulder and back. I felt so weak that I decided to go to bed, but before that, I gave myself a Christian Science treatment, using my understanding the best I knew how.
