FLIGHT PLAN

Maxine Le Pelley

Rated pilot learns to fly
Through viewless, scudded sky
By trusting instruments,
Not eye.
For clouds and mountains
Orient
Falsely,
Flyer's climb or descent.

So in the shadow of His wings,
We trust not
Vague imaginings.
Love's omniscient, accurate sight
Is law of guidance
To flight.
Faultless Principle's control
Clears approach to heavenly goal.
