It is now almost ten years since I began...
It is now almost ten years since I began the regular study of Christian Science; this has been a time of joyous spiritual unfoldment and of ever higher realizations of my pure identity as the child of God. I have seen, in my own experience and that of others, so many proofs of the healing power of divine Love!
Throughout my high school years I had recurring trouble with plantar warts. The growths were deep, and a surgeon determined that they should be removed if I were to pursue comfortably my active life—which included playing tennis frequently, and practicing dances with my high school drill team.
During three years the surgeon several times removed these growths. Walking was very painful, and a special bar was attached under all of my left shoes to help ease the pressure. It seemed that the cycle of operations would be continued indefinitely.
