God Is Good
One day I was outside playing on the swing set with my girl friends. I swung up in the air, and I came tumbling down and twisted my wrist. Then my mom came out to see what was the matter, and my friends went home.
My mom said, "You know what to do, don't you?" I said, "Yes, I have to know the truth." That means know that God is good and with us everywhere. So nothing can go wrong. That's how my mom and I prayed to God. Knowing that we are God's perfect children and we are in God's care is praying in Christian Science.
The next day my wrist still hurt, so we called a Christian Science practitioner to help us. While the practitioner was talking on the phone, the pain left. Then I went away for the weekend. While I was playing with my cousin, the wrist was hurt again. But we knew the truth, and it healed my wrist for good.
