NICKY IN THE POOL

"I can't wait to get there, Mother. Let's go. Let's go!" Nicky was five years old and full of questions. "Do you think we'll like it? Will you rent it today? When can we move in?"

Nicky's mother explained to him and his sister, Jennifer, that if she had to stop to answer all his questions, they would never get to the country on time. "Mr. Allen, the renting agent, is waiting to show us the summer house and then we'll have the answers for you. But first we have to inspect the house and the grounds and make all the arrangements. Now, into the car!"

Jennifer was eight years old, and she always had good ideas for fun and games, especially while they were on a long trip somewhere. So the children played games in the car, and the time went fast.
