Don't Be Discouraged

Discouraged? Of course not! Discouragement is the devil's best tool. Reject it!

I was once discouraged over recurring severe headaches that had resisted my spiritual efforts to overcome them. I felt incompetent and dispirited.

My mother calmly remarked, "Discouragement never healed anything. So long as you entertain it, you prolong the problem. You merely put off doing now what you're going to have to do eventually—face the situation courageously, defeat the foe, and rise to spiritual heights of accomplishment—of demonstration. Stop looking back as though defeated and keep going. Even though it's uphill all the way, keep going!"
