GOD'S DAY

Stanley John York

This eternal moment
of commencement and fulfillment
(the nowness of my joyful trust)
hints all that I can ever be or know.
This day's unfolded good
reveals my inner growing
and the measure of my moving.
Love's present grace
obliterates time-fear,
and at Mind's pace
its deep-drawn peace
is comprehended.
