NOTES FROM THE PUBLISHING SOCIETY

The Board of Trustees takes pleasure in announcing publication of a third volume in Thomas L. Leishman's series, The Continuity of the Bible.

Subtitled "Prophetic Writings," this is the final volume of three covering the Old Testament. Like "The Patriarchs" and "Joshua to Elisha," this book brings together articles from the series, "The Continuity of the Bible," first published in The Christian Science Journal.

The Continuity of the Bible: Prophetic Writings contains Mr. Leishman's brief, perceptive, and authoritative comments on the books from Isaiah through Malachi. Each chapter helps the student find a unified sense of the Bible's message. The book will soon be available for $3.50 in any Christian Science Reading Room or from The Christian Science Publishing Society, One Norway Street, Boston, MA, U.S.A. 02115.

RADIO SERIES— "THE TRUTH THAT HEALS"

Under Pressure? There's a Way Out

Are there pressures in your life that seem overwhelming? There is a way to meet the pressures and fears of everyday life squarely and with all confidence in good. On this rebroadcast of an earlier program in "The Truth That Heals" series, three people confronted with pressure tell what happened when they listened actively to do what God wanted them to do. A business woman continually forced to meet deadlines in her work, an executive who was about to conclude negotiations for a very large sale, and an ambassador in the foreign service of the United States, all faced extreme pressure. Each of them, through relying on God, was led to take a specific course of action, one that brought healing and relieved the pressure.

During the week of June 3 many English-speaking areas will broadcast this program. Christian Science Reading Rooms have information about the local radio station's day and time of broadcast. This information is also published in certain local newspapers. TESTIMONY MEETINGS

Meetings at which testimonies of Christian Science healing are given, are held in Christian Science churches on Wednesdays. A cordial invitation to attend these meetings, as well as the Sunday services, is extended to all. Information telling where and when these are held is given in the Directory in The Christian Science Journal.
