The Secret Place of Safety
Countless people have been heartened and comforted by the words of the ninety-first Psalm: "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." Ps. 91:1;
They know and have proved that these are not just beautiful words, lulling one into an illusory and false sense of security. They speak of a real place of safety from the threats of evil—from fear of pain, lack, stress, indecision, danger.
Where is this secret place? How can we find it? This refuge is not a material habitation or a far-off destination. It is the very presence of God, divine Love, all powerful and the only power.
