How Do You Heal a World?
Phil reached for a doughnut while his mother poured him a cup of hot chocolate. He had been the last member of the family to come downstairs to watch an early morning special television program filmed by ABC and featuring young Christian Scientists. "How do you heal a world?" was the half-hour topic.
Phil hadn't really wanted to watch it. The "young" people on the program weren't his age. They were even older than his brother and sister who were in high school. At twelve, what could he do to heal a world?
The program began and Phil listened. College-age Christian Scientists talked about their concern for people. They spoke of their conviction that Truth was for all, not just themselves. They really believed that man was sinless, whole, the image and likeness of God. Several told how they had proved Truth in a measure in their own lives and in helping others.
