Dominion over Death
When Jesus was put into the tomb, his enemies thought his life was ended. Still, within three days he was able to rise with the same body he had before.
Surely Jesus had proved the truth of his own words to the Jews, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death." John 8:51; It is also our privilege to overcome death in proportion as we approximate the Christly life he lived.
Jesus' Christliness was what could not die or be killed. Because it has its source in God, good, and God is infinite, eternal Life, true Christliness is indestructible. This Christly state of thought and action expresses our true, incorporeal being as the sons of God.
