PLAY BALL!
Mark was in the third grade, and his favorite subject, you might say, was recess. School was okay, but what he really enjoyed was playing ball, and recess was the time to do that.
One day, though, it wasn't so much fun. That was the time he was hit on the head with a baseball bat. The bat flew from the hands of a hitter as he raced to first base and caught Mark as he waited for his turn at bat on the sideline.
For a minute he nearly blacked out, but he quickly thought, "God is Love, God is Love." From the time he was small he had learned to think of God the instant anything bad seemed to be coming his way.
