I have been so benefited by the teachings of Christian Science that I would like to share some of my experiences with other readers of the Christian Science periodicals in a desire to help.

One of the first healings I had took place when I was in high school. I became ill with scarlet fever. At the same time I had a finger that was badly infected with what appeared to be blood poisoning. A Christian Science practitioner was called, and with much prayerful help I began to improve and within a short time was healed of the scarlet fever. The interesting part of the healing was the fact that my twin sister, who slept in my room, never came down with this contagious disease.

The condition of my finger, however, did not yield quite so soon, but after continued prayer it too was completely cleared up. These healings meant a great deal to me and to my whole family at the time, for we were new students of Science.
